What with no baby or adoption news expected out of Brangelina or Madonna, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s VMA-announced pregnancy is the hottest prenatal news of the moment. Which translates into a searing headache for the Knowles family’s press reps and handlers. One publicist for Beyoncé’s sister Solange was so worried at Fashion’s Night Out this past Thursday that he practically accosted NBC Today show co-host Hoda Kotb when she tried to interview his client.
“What do you want to talk to [Solange] about?,” he asked. “She won’t answer questions about Beyoncé. […] I need to know what questions you’ll ask.”
Lucky for Kotb, one thing there’s no shortage of during Fashion’s Night Out is famous people, hence her quick “no, thanks” to Solange’s rep before moving on to Ivanka Trump and Nanette Lepore.
