Are you ready for pure, unfiltered, 100 percent Alec Baldwin voice? (It's a good, rumbly thing.) Mark October 24 on your calendar, then: The actor is launching a podcast series via New York Public Radio, where he'll be interviewing figures like Michael Douglas, Kris Kardashian-Jenner, Chris Rock, Kathleen Turner, and Erica Jong. Baldwin tells the AP that it's part of his plan to segue into a different phase of his career, though as we had speculated before, he's open to renegotiating his 30 Rock contract if it will allow him to shoot fewer episodes. "I wouldn't want to prevent them from having another year, because they're all my friends and they've been good to me," said Baldwin. "Maybe I would do a piece of the year. But I really do want to move on to other things." [AP]
