Bret McKenzie is All Over the Muppets Soundtrack

By

In the perfect marriage of tiny adorable things, Flight of the Conchords Bret McKenzie wrote music for the Muppets soundtrack, adding his originals to songs by Feist, Nathan Pacheco and Joanna Newsom, who I suspect is half-Muppet anyway. In addition to acting as the movie’s music supervisor, McKenzie’s ditties include “Life a Happy Song,” song by Jason Segel, Amy Adams and break-out puppet star Walter; “Let’s Talk About Me,” which sounds like Chris Cooper will have to amp up the fabulousness; “Man or Muppet,” song by Jason Segel and Walter; and Miss Piggy and Animal’s “Me Party,” which will get a dubstep remix the second the movie comes out.
