Disney Rereleasing More Old Movies in 3-D

The Lion King 3D has earned $80 million since its rerelease three weekends ago, so the following announcement should come as no surprise: Over the next two years, Disney will be rereleasing four other films from its back catalogue in 3-D. The company will start in January with Beauty and the Beast and run through Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., and The Little Mermaid (which is not as good as you remember!) by September 2013. Shafted Aladdin fans, make your voices heard! There’s always 2014. [24 Frames/LAT]
