If you're a regular viewer of ABC's Happy Endings, you likely know a few things about the character of Max Blum (Adam Pally): He's a nondenominational minister, he likes video games, he's a tad lazy, and he's gay. But now producers are planning to let us in on a bit of Max's origin story. Vulture has learned that the eighth episode of the season will introduce viewers to Max's high-school girlfriend, Angie. The two dated before Max realized he wasn't straight. Playing the role will be actress Riki Lindhome, who appeared in a few episodes of Gilmore Girls back in the day but more recently got notice for co-writing and starring in the Funny or Die parody Nuthin' But a Glee Thang. Look for the episode to air sometime in November.
