Hilary Swank Fires Her Manager for Bad Booking Decision

After human-rights organizations criticized her paid appearance at Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov's birthday party, Hilary Swank denied knowledge of her host's decidedly bad human-rights record and offered to donate her check to charity. Reportedly, the penance-paying continued last week with the firing of her manager of nearly a decade, Jason Weinberg. (Two CAA representatives have also been "moved off her team.") Of course, Swank herself was also probably capable of knowing better but, as one source said, "What can she do? She can hardly fire herself." Everyone else, though — they can definitely get fired.
