Mariah Carey Was the Last Straw for Footloose’s Kenny Wormald

Kenny Wormald.

Let's check back in with Footloose's Kenny Wormald, this month's best new person! The L.A. Times profiled the actor-dancer over the weekend, and the interview is full of little gems, including the revelation that he played up his Boston accent upon moving to Hollywood because "chicks dug it" (which would explain his drink request during the interview: a "be-ah"). Also important: The music-video veteran learned how to behave on set after Mariah Carey demanded that her assistant hold a straw for her while drinking. "I don't want to be like that," he said. "I want to be how Justin [Timberlake] is. He talks to the people at catering. He looks people in the eye ... I'm not gonna be like, 'I'm famous, bitch, give me some cheese.'" You could say that, Kenny! We would let you! [24 Frames/LAT]
