While not the first time Kim Kardashian will have graced the big screen — remember Deep in the Valley and Disaster Movie? No? — the supporting role she’s just landed in Tyler Perry’s upcoming The Marriage Counselor means at least this time around she’ll be doing so in a credibly mainstream production. (She is expected to play a co-worker to the titular marriage counselor.) All we ask of you, Mr. Perry, is that you push the envelope on that whole ditzy, feel-good thing Kim’s got going. At least make her play a bitter divorcée or, even better, a plain-looking person. [THR]
