The band, who haven’t officially toured since Paul Rodgers left in 2009, is reportedly considering Gaga as its new front (wo)man. Says guitarist Brian May: “We talk about going out on the road all the time but there’s a bit of a singer problem to put it mildly … I worked with Lady Gaga and she’s very creative and is someone we’ve talked about singing, fronting the band with.” They’re also exploring duet options, or a TV show, or really probably any format that allows May and Roger Taylor to bang out a few more “Bohemian Rhapsody”s in front of an adoring audience. But let’s not ignore the obvious benefit (aside from, you know, massive crowds) of landing Lady Gaga herself: Queen already has a killer encore ready to go. “Radio Ga Ga,” weirdly prophetic. [NME]
