Matt Damon Adds Self to Directorial Debut

Back in June, Matt Damon revealed to Vulture that he was drawing close to his directorial debut and that he'd already cast John Krasinski in it. Now we know a bit more, thanks to Variety: Damon has cast himself, too. He'll star as a salesman arriving in a small town, but few other details are known about the movie, which Damon and Krasinski co-wrote (based on a story developed by Krasinski and Dave Eggers). Hmm, Matt Damon is busy writing screenplays with a taller, handsome actor who's also interested in directing? Ben Affleck, go back and claim what you had first! [Showblitz/Variety]
