Oliver Stone is set to direct and co-produce a film adaptation of Robert Caro’s 1974 The Power Broker, a Pulitzer Prize-winning book about the career of Robert Moses, the controversial urban planner who transformed New York City during the first half of the twentieth century. The project, an HBO endeavor with a script by Nicholas Meyer, will bring Stone one step closer to his ultimate goal: chronicling the life of every conceivable variety of highly influential white man.
