Big news for fans of late-eighties Manchester psych-pop: The Stone Roses are the latest band to hop on the reunion bandwagon, with an “extensive” world tour planned for summer 2012. (If you missed the live press conference, NME live-blogged the entire exciting affair.) The band also might record a third album, because people “need uplifting in times like this.” Sure, sounds great to us. Everyone blast “I Wanna Be Adored” together to celebrate. [BBC]
