Should the Lonely Island add two more members to its trio? Andy Samberg and his bandmates were sued last week by St. Louis musicians Aleric “Rick tha Ruler” Banks and Monique Hines, who claim they wrote the music for Saturday Night Live digital shorts “Shy Ronnie” and “Like a Boss,” and sent them to the Lonely Island members, who then recorded their own lyrics while cutting Banks and Hines out of credit and compensation. In a response that Shy Ronnie would appreciate, the Lonely Island and NBC Universal are declining to comment.
