Here Is Miley Cyrus’s Occupy Wall Street Tribute Video

So, Miley Cyrus really made the most of her Thanksgiving! After announcing to a large group of people that she smokes enough weed to deserve a Bob Marley birthday cake, the former Ms. Montana decided to get political with a homemade YouTube video in support of the protesters at Occupy Wall Street. Cyrus posted the “Liberty Walk” remix — set to often-violent footage from the various Occupy protests — to her official YouTube account on Saturday, along with a dedication “to the thousands of people who are standing up for what they believe in.” As you might expect when an oft-maligned pop star inserts herself into the political discourse, there has been some feedback! The truly remarkable video is below for your consideration, but before we leave you to it, we feel obligated to point out that in the context of YouTube tribute videos — a time-honored tradition involving spliced movie clips and cheesy music — this is not the craziest thing we have ever seen. At least she didn’t use “Party in the USA.”
