When Vulture caught up with Olivia Munn last night at the Princess Grace Awards Gala, held at Cipriani 42nd Street, we had to ask how Steven Soderbergh's male stripper epic Magic Mike was going. "It's amazing to watch everyone," she gushed of her cast, which includes Alex Pettyfer, Channing Tatum, Matthew Bomer, and Joe Manganiello. "They're a talented group of actors who learned how to do these amazing dances." So she's gotten a sneak peek of the bump-and-grind choreography? "I'm not getting a sneak peek — I'm front and center, going, 'Oh my gosh!'" Munn exclaimed, her hands over her mouth. "I'm not a very shy girl, but when I watch them, I become a very shy, giggling Japanese schoolgirl: 'I can't believe I'm watching this!' Like, I regret the days I'm not there watching them dance." Even the glamour of the Princess Grace Gala couldn't quite make up for what Munn was missing. "Like, right now, I'm mad," she confessed. "I'm furious that I'm not there watching Matt Bomer shake it, because he can shake it, probably better than most people in the world."
