Piers Morgan announced on his CNN program that he will not be returning as a judge for the seventh season of America’s Got Talent. Morgan is the last of the original judges to leave, following the departures of Brandy after Season 1 and David Hasselhoff after Season 4. Citing a need to concentrate fully on Piers Morgan Tonight in the upcoming election year, Morgan thanked NBC and his friend Simon Cowell for the opportunity, which no doubt made him a recognizable name Stateside. But does he still believe America has talent, and is it worth fighting for?
