With the lead role finally locked down, the supporting pieces are falling into place for Lovelace, the biopic based on the life of Linda Lovelace, famous seventies porn actress and star of Deep Throat. Sharon Stone has now confirmed that she will be playing the mother of Amanda Seyfried’s Linda Lovelace. The film centers on Lovelace’s relationship with her abusive husband, Chuck Traynor, who pushed her into the business and whom she later divorced after quitting porn. Peter Sarsgaard is currently in negotiations to play Traynor. Production is expected to begin in January.
