Willow Smith’s Album Has a Release Date

More than a year after signing with Roc Nation, the 11-year-old Hair-Whipper has finally announced definite plans for her first full-length effort. It's called (somewhat unimaginatively) Willow, and it'll be out in April 2012. In more immediate news, Willow also promised that a video for her most recent, somewhat overlooked video "Fireball" (featuring Nicki Minaj) would be out sometime next week. Finally, some casual "Willow Smith" Googling just informed us that the youngest Smith was inspired enough by the Jaden-Bieber "Thinkin Bout You" remix to release her own Frank Ocean tribute over the weekend. It's just a webcam effort, and only 30 seconds long, but yeah, 11-year-olds are rocking those jams now. It is really too hard to out-cool them.
