“Despite moments of sublimity,” our David Edelstein finds the new Liam Neeson-versus-the-wolves movie The Grey to be “as predictable as a funeral.” Alas, things get even more funereal as Edelstein reviews this weekend’s new movies, which include Ti West’s retro horror picture The Innkeepers and Ben Wheatley’s violent vigilante movie Kill List. At least Perfect Sense offers a little bit of love, thanks to the bond between Ewan McGregor and “the impossibly gorgeous Eva Green.” Check out Edelstein’s new reviews here.
