Julian Assange will guest-star on The Simpsons as himself in the show’s 500th episode, EW reports. Assange, currently under house arrest in the U.K., recorded his part in a secret location, because such is the life of Julian Assange. In the episode, which airs February 19, Marge and Homer go off the grid and find themselves living next door to Assange. “He invites them over for a home movie and it’s an Afghan wedding being bombed,” says producer Al Jean. “There’s nothing we did that has anything to do with the legal situation that he’s in,” Jean says. “We wanted to make sure it was satirical, and he was willing to do that.” So we can now add “good sport” to the long list of nouns applicable to Julian Assange.
