Given her recent personal and professional divorces, you might forgive Katy Perry for hanging up her blue wigs and hiding away for a couple of months. But you would be underestimating the formidable hit-making machine that is the soon-to-be-ex–Mrs. Brand. Perry, who is one hit away from breaking Michael Jackson's record for the most No. 1 songs from the same album, has released yet another remix of Teenage Dream weeper "The One That Got Away." (The first, featuring a verse for B.O.B., failed to deliver.) Her latest effort, produced by Fiona Apple pal Jon Brion, goes the acoustic route, and if nothing else, it will remind you that poor Katy is going through a breakup and could really use your sympathy right now. (Sympathy = radio play.)
