Here’s a new pairing for the buddy-cop film archives: Orlando Bloom and Djimon Hounsou have joined Zulu, directed by The Tourist screenwriter Jérôme Salle. The plot details two Cape Town cops investigating the murder of a pro rugby player’s 18-year-old daughter. The casting news comes on the heels of Paradise Lost being scrapped — Hounsou had been cast as the Angel of Death — but our Bradley Cooper-as-Lucifer loss is everyone’s Bloom-Hounsou potential chemistry gain.
