J. Hoberman, recently laid off from the Village Voice, has found new gainful employment as the chief film critic for Blouin ARTINFO. He tells Indiewire that he'll continue to freelance and blog, and that ARTINFO "isn't a full-time gig in the sense that the Voice was." Don't feel too bad for him, though. "To be honest, I’m not at all sorry, after 30 years, to break out of weekly film reviewing," he said. "At this point mainly interested in writing about stuff that interests me in a way that I find interesting. When I have something to say, I'll figure out a way to say it."
