Malin Akerman Joins Portia de Rossi’s ABC Comedy

Portia de Rossi's ABC comedy pilot The Smart One has pulled Malin Akerman aboard, with the Wanderlust and Watchmen actress set to co-star. The show revolves around "a brilliant and successful woman (de Rossi) who has to go to work for her less brainy but more popular sister (Akerman) — a former beauty queen, weather girl … and now big-city mayor," Deadline writes. Jean Smart will play the ladies' mother, and, oh yeah, Ellen DeGeneres is executive producing.
