Footage released at WonderCon this weekend sheds more light on Abe Lincoln's clandestine vampire killing days. Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter director Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) debuted a second trailer for the adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's history, fantasy, ax-murderer mash-up novel, this time with a little more "why." This trailer includes much of the same footage as the first but explains, where the first trailer did not, exactly what the heck a U.S. president is doing smashing vampires with axes and drilling them in the side of the head with roundhouse kicks. Bekmambetov was joined at WonderCon by Benjamin Walker, who plays the sixteenth president, and Grahame-Smith, who co-wrote the screenplay. Walker said to fans in Anaheim: "As an American, I want to know that my leaders are strong and have the capacity to make decisions — and cut some heads off."
