After a trenchant spot of jazz flute and a prolonged attack on Conan O’Brien’s general appearance, Ron Burgundy’s visit to Conan became clear: Anchorman 2 was officially announced to “everyone here in the Americas, to our friends in Spain, Turkey, and the U.K., including England.” No word if it’ll still be “the craziest sequel you’ve ever seen,” or if it’ll still be a musical, but does any of that really matter? It’ll be Anchorman 2, and, per Deadline, Paul Rudd and Steve Carell will return, Adam McKay will again direct and co-write with Will Ferrell, Judd Apatow will produce, and all will be well and funny.
