Braveheart: The TV Show is in development. Scottish and American production companies are combining forces to develop Wallace, a serialized biopic of the Scottish leader that will be “stylistically in the vein of Spartacus and Game of Thrones,” according to a release. The world eagerly awaits another swords-and-nudity fiesta, now with Scottish accents from the olden days! Eleventh Hour’s Mick Davis will write and executive produce the show, which will focus on Wallace’s backstory, romantic life, years of political agitation, and his ongoing rivalry with Robert the Bruce, plus the aforementioned swords and nudity.
