Toddlers and Tiaras’ Eden Is Getting Her Own Show

“It’s hard being Eden Wood, but I love it,” 7-year-old Eden warbles in the trailer for her upcoming reality show Eden’s World. The child rose to tabloid fame after appearing on Toddlers and Tiaras and then anywhere else that would have her (The Talk, Anderson), and now Logo has given her her own series, which follows her quest for fame. The haunting phoniness of Eden’s line deliveries is disturbing enough, but the full teaser really seems to revel in the grotesque jamboree of childhood sexualization, gruesome on its own but now extra-distorted through the lens of reality television. “Not everyone is Judy Garland, you know?” some dude says, completely seriously. It’s too bad, too, because everything was so easy and wonderful and turned out so perfectly for Judy Garland.
