Fox Adjusts Neighborhood Watch Ads After Trayvon Martin Shooting

Fox has a larky sci-fi comedy on its hands with this July's Neighborhood Watch, but the studio is going to recalibrate its marketing campaign in the wake of an all-too-real story. THR reports that after neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman shot hoodie-wearing Florida teen Trayvon Martin, Fox has decided to yank the teaser trailer and poster for Neighborhood Watch, which stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, and Richard Ayoade. And while the studio was probably readying its next trailer anyway, you can see how they'd be quick to move past the current teaser, which features Jonah Hill shooting finger guns at his neighbors and dragging a hoodie-clad teenager into the police station for questioning. Bad timing!
