fun.’s ‘We Are Young’ Hits No. 1

Fun.

So, maybe you’re familiar with fun. because Glee covered their Janelle Monae-featuring single “We Are Young” back in December, or maybe the song got stuck in your head during a Super Bowl ad and never left. Or maybe you started protesting bands with punctuation back in 2003 and have therefore never given “We Are Young” the time of day, on principle. Just do you! But know that the Glee and Chevy-approved track is now the No. 1 song in the country and, according to Billboard, the first “rock” song to hold that spot since Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida,” back in 2008. (This is perhaps not the place for arguments about the definition of rock.)  Important question: how many No. 1s does it take before fun. can reasonably upgrade to an exclamation point? Three? Discuss.
