Gerard Butler Cast in White House Action Movie

Gerard Butler will star in Olympus Has Fallen, which Variety says has been described as "Die Hard in the White House." The actor will play an ex-Secret Service agent who gets his shot at redemption (we're just assuming the character, like all "ex" anythings, is in need of redemption) when he finds himself in a position to foil a terrorist attack on his former boss's place at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
