Keri Russell Cast in FX’s KGB Spy Drama, The Americans

Keri Russell will star in FX's Cold War spy drama The Americans, the network announced today. Wonderful! The show, set in the D.C. burbs in the eighties, centers on Elizabeth and Phillip Jennings (Russell and a yet-to-be-cast co-star), two KGB spies posing as suburban American parents. The show was created by Joe Wiesberg, who used to work for the CIA, so he probably knows all kinds of secrets. This is quite the pilot season for Felicity alums: Scott Foley was cast in The Goodwin Games, Greg Grunberg in a CBS comedy, Scott Speedman in Last Resort, and now this.
