Pauly D’s solo project spin-off of The Jersey Shore is upon us, and it’s roughly what you’d expect: Pauly and his “boys” decamp to Vegas, where they proceed to drink and scream and fight and have low-stakes sexual encounters like so many MTV reality stars before them. The grotesque sideshow vibes of Jersey Shore are mercifully absent from this earnest trailer, though it does look an awful lot like the Vegas season of The Real World, which was filmed in the same hotel ten — yes, ten — years ago. If you think this show won’t include a burly dude getting all choked up when he thinks of all the wonderful opportunities Pauly D has brought to his life, well, think again.
