Safety Not Guaranteed Trailer: Aubrey Plaza’s Time-Travel Romance

How do you win the heart of a slender hipster brunette from one of TV's best-liked comedies? Apparently, the secret ingredient is time travel: It's what wooed New Girl's Zooey Deschanel to the hiatus project About Time yesterday, and it worked gangbusters for Parks and Recreation's Aubrey Plaza, who scored a big hit at Sundance with the time-travel rom-com Safety Not Guaranteed. The trailer just came out for Safety today, and in it, newsmagazine intern Plaza and her editor, Deschanel's New Girl co-star Jake Johnson, investigate Mark Duplass, who has placed a classified ad looking for a partner to time travel with. Plaza told us at Sundance that she took the role because it "would sort of allow me to branch out of this sarcastic, deadpan zone that I’ve sort of been in"; press play and decide whether she manages to leave April Ludgate in the past.
