There's more drama on the Mary J. Blige–Burger King front. Blige's ad for the fast-food chain was yanked from YouTube this week after the Internet raised a collective eyebrow at the sight of Blige singing her heart out for Snack Wraps; now, the hip-hop icon has attempted to explain herself. "I agreed to be a part of a fun and creative campaign that was supposed to feature a dream sequence," Blige said in a statement to TMZ. "Unfortunately, that's not what was happening in that clip. I understand my fans being upset by what they saw. But, if you’re a Mary fan, you have to know I would never allow an unfinished spot like the one you saw go out." It's not clear which element in the ad is purported to be "unfinished," but Burger King reps still maintain that a revised commercial should debut soon, and also, look over there!
