The Office’s Dismal Ratings Lend Urgency to Proposed Reboot

This Thursday's episode marked an all-time low for The Office, at least in terms of ratings. NBC's onetime comedy powerhouse had only 4.4 million viewers, which is down 13 percent from a month ago. No longer the undisputed (inappropriately joke-y) boss of the 9 p.m. time slot, The Office now has to contend with reruns of CBS's The Big Bang Theory, which netted over 15 million viewers on Thursday. So, it looks like recent rumors of an Office reboot may have some legs, after all.
