Fanboys, commence your interest: Deadline is reporting that director Brad Bird, late of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, has signed on to direct Damon Lindelof's under-wraps script 1952 for Disney. There's no word yet on what the movie is about — fitting, given Lindelof's secrecy-shrouded projects like Lost and Prometheus — but we do know that Lindelof co-wrote the screenplay with Jeff Jensen, who used to recap Lost for Entertainment Weekly. Recapping: kinda legit now!
