Southpaw, the Kurt Sutter–penned, Detroit-set boxing drama set to star Eminem, is back in development time-out while Marshall gets back to that rapping thing. Slim Shady spokesman Dennis Dennehy never came out and explicitly said Em’s working on his eighth studio album, but that seems a distinct possibility. Southpaw, which would employ more than 9,000 extras and 200 crew members, should still film in Detroit whenever production picks back up.
