No hard feelings? Summit may have squeezed Gary Ross out of directing Catching Fire, the sequel to his blockbuster film The Hunger Games, but now THR reports that Ross is in talks to make the studio’s project Houdini. Based on the 2006 novel The Secret Life of Houdini, The Making of America’s First Superhero, the story posits that the master magician was secretly a British spy, and Summit is hoping Houdini can be the studio’s own Indiana Jones. (Albeit one who isn’t good at taking a punch.)
