Jewel Will Star in June Carter Cash Biopic
Jewel will make her major acting debut as June Carter Cash in a Lifetime biopic. Deadline reports that Matt Ross, who played the creepy old-timey doctor on American Horror Story and the also creepy Alby on Big Love, will play a hopefully not creepy Johnny Cash. The made-for-TV movie starts filming this summer. It’s more promising than Lindsay Lohan staring as Elizabeth Taylor in a different Lifetime biopic, at least?
