Marc Cherry's telenovela adaptation Devious Maids got snubbed by ABC, and now Lifetime is taking a look. The network has been eyeing "a number of busted broadcast pilots and cancelled series, including CBS’ Unforgettable, but Devious Maids seems to be closer than most to the new, younger and sexier direction Lifetime is taking with series like The Client List," Deadline writes. If the network's looking for some español-tinged mischievousness, this is it.
