Tommy Lee Jones to Write, Direct, Everything in The Homesman

After he passes the baton to a younger Agent K in Men In Black III later this month, Tommy Lee Jones will be devoted to writing, directing, producing, and starring in period picture The Homesman. The only thing he won't do is make tomato bruschetta for the craft services spread. Jones takes other requests. Variety writes that the story follows a "pioneer woman and a claim-jumping rascal of a man (Jones) who usher three insane women on an odyssey from Nebraska to Iowa, braving the elements along the way." Perhaps Hailee Steinfeld could turn on some crazy for a role.
