Today, Lauryn Hill pleaded guilty in court to three counts of tax evasion on more than $1.5 million in income earned from 2005 to 2007. That's a marked change in attitude from Hill's defiant explanation earlier in the month, where she Tumblr-blogged that by not filing taxes, she "embraced my right to resist a system intentionally opposing my right to whole and integral survival." Hill faces up to three years in prison and will be sentenced in November.
