Madonna’s Latest Concert Controversy Involves a Swastika

Here we go: During a concert in Tel Aviv last week, Madonna used an image of French right-wing politician Marine Le Pen with a swastika superimposed on Le Pen's forehead. The image only appeared for a second, but predictably, Le Pen is threatening legal action; she's also dropping acid quotes like, “We understand how old singers who need to get people talking about them go to such extremes." Somewhere, M.I.A. is being too young and cool to care that Madonna stole her playbook.
