Original Family Feud Host Has Died

Richard Dawson, the English-American actor who was the original host of the still-going Family Feud, died yesterday from esophageal cancer at the age of 79. In addition to acting as the face of Feud for nine years (from 1976–1985 and briefly in 1994), he also appeared on sixties staple Hogan's Heroes as Corporal Peter Newkirk, a part he played for seven years. In tribute, here is a very charming video of Dawson suffering from a major laugh attack upon hearing a Feud contestant's strategy for making conversation upon meeting a stranger.
