Gabriel Garcia Marquez Is Suffering From Dementia
The 85-year-old Colombian Nobel laureate and author of One Hundred Years of Solitude — among many other good things — has stopped writing altogether, his brother Jaime Garcia Marquez told a group of students in Cartagena. "He has problems with his memory," he said, though "he still has the humor, joy and enthusiasm that he has always had."
