Quincy Jones Will Write The Butler’s Score

Composer Quincy Jones attends a special screening of A&E Entertainment's "Under African Skies" on June 8, 2012 in Los Angeles, California.

Great news for a movie that's already got more stars than a complicated constellation — Lee Daniels's The Butler will boast a score from Michael Jackson–spirit–guiding, Rashida Jones–fathering, 79-year-old Quincy Jones, who has six musical Oscar nominations to his name. The Forrest Whitaker–starring film is based on Eugene Allen, a butler in the White House's employ for more than three decades. Oprah Winfrey, Alan Rickman, Robin Williams, James Marsden, Jane Fonda, Alex Pettyfer, and Minka Kelly have also been cast.
