Russell Crowe will direct a biopic about the late comedian Bill Hicks, his writing partner Mark Staufer tells the Telegraph, adding, "We'll go into production early next year." In the meantime, Crowe is financing a new book by his former schoolmate Staufer, a Da Vinci Code–type thriller that purports to teach the reader about lucid dreaming. "What's really exciting is that once you learn how to lucid dream, anything is possible," claims Staufer. "We're literally going to teach you how to fly through the sky like Superman." Perhaps fitting, it's Crowe who narrates the new Superman trailer.
