In this week's New Yorker, editor-in-Chief David Remnick goes (so, so) long on none other than Bruce Springsteen, and there is much to unpack — including personal anecdotes from Remnick, like the time he saw Springsteen open for Chicago, back in 1973, and this description of the man's rear: "an ass finely sausaged into a pair of alarmingly tight black jeans."
