Abby Elliott Out at SNL

Abby Elliott won't be returning to Saturday Night Live, Splitsider reports. She'd been on the show for four seasons, but her only major recurring segment was "The Zooey Deschanel Show," which, while funny, isn't all that different than the also-funny "Miley Cyrus Show." Elliott's exit isn't a surprise: She had almost nothing to do this past season, and she was obviously amenable to leaving the cast because she shot a pilot over the winter. (That show is now called Ben & Kate, and Elliott was eventually replaced by Dakota Johnson.) Time to start practicing your Meryl Streep and Rachel Maddow impressions, Kate McKinnon.
